Painting from Photographs

Description

Discover how to reinvent a photographic image into a painting.

Bring a photograph or series of photographs that are important to you in some way and together we will explore ways of translating them into paintings. We will use a computer, mobile phone or photocopier to transform and translate your photographic image and explore ideas using paint. Compositional and tonal considerations will be evaluated as we explore the possibilities of painting from photographs.

By the end of the course you will have an exciting range of painted images.
