Melissa Scott-Miller and Hero Johnson both have work in the Lynn Painter Stainers Prize exhibition this year.
The Lynn Painter-Stainers Prize was created in 2005 by the Worshipful Company of Painter-Stainers and the Lynn Foundation to encourage the very best creative representational painting and to promote the skill of draughtsmanship.
With prize money of £35,000 – including a First Prize of £20,000, representing a 25% increase in value on last year – the Prize is one of the most prestigious awards available to artists in the UK.
This year’s Judges for the exhibition and prize included Robin Lee Hall and Benjamin Sullivan.
The exhibition is on at the Mall Galleries until the 17th of March.
